Pre-K

Mrs. Bernard is the Pre-K teacher and in the Pre-K class we focus on making sure our students are ready for kindergarten! We follow Saugerties Central School FUNDations curriculum. In the Pre-k class, we will teach our students how to write their full name, be able to identify all their letters along with being able to write them. The students will also learn how to read sight words and by the end of the year be able to reach short simple sentences (i.e. The cat is orange). Pre-K isn't all just about learning though, we do age appropriate STEAM activities, hands on experiments and fun events.
